Migrating to Angular2: What You Need To Know

  • Axis Coworking Spaces 333 North New River Drive East Fort Lauderdale, FL, 33301 United States (map)

Join Michael Vargas,  as we look at the most recent version of Angular (Google's JavaScript Framework). In this session, we'll talk about where Angular 2 came from; why its so different; how you can prepare yourself for it and then we'll take a look at Atscript, component architecture, directives and data bindings.

Why would you consider going to Angular 2?

• Angular 2 is fast. It computes updates based on changes to data, not the browsers DOM, for fast updates that scale to the largest data sets with minimal memory overhead.

• Angular 2 solves the core challenges in mobile web performance.

• Angular 2 adds support for several languages including plainJavaScript, TypeScript, and Dart.

Michael is one of the co-founders of UX+Dev Summit of Fort Lauderdale and has been a Web developer for almost 14 years. He teaches designers, developers and entrepreneurs what coding is and how its done. He is actively involved with the community of South Florida and heads several meetup groups.
